(Computer Aided Competency Training and Assurance System) is the first competency
training solution to offer Operating System level flexibility, scalability,
standardization, and economics. CACTUS-OS supports four (4) editions to meet
any need for your training:
• CACTUS Desktop Edition (CDE) - CDE has been configured for single
workstation application. CDE supports 21 CFR Part 11 settings, the administration
of trainees, courses, examinations, scheduling, training decision support, training
IQ-OQ-PQ & training validation, competency metrics, generation of reports &
certificates, and Return-On-Training-Investment analysis. SCORM courses, tests,
and examinations are integrated through SCORM plug and play capability for
automatic training.
• CACTUS Small Network Edition (CNE) - CNE has been configured for
the concurrent use of five (5) workstations. CNE covers the same functionalities
of CDE.
• CACTUS Enterprise Edition (CEE) - CEE is an intranet version of
CACTUS-OS for enterprise broad application. CEE is able to operate 1000’s of
concurrent users. In addition to all of the functionalities of CDE, CEE supports
hybrid training, and includes Competency Executive Management & SOP Information
Management sub-systems.
• CACTUS Web Training Edition (CWT) - CWT is an on-line full service
competency training portal includes full set of Internet resources to satisfy all
your training requirements including: on-line courses, tests, & examinations,
on-line administration.

• Supports Open Standard SCORM for content and course development.
SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) is an open standard
specification, first developed for the US Government, to enable
interoperability and reusability of Web-based e-learning content. Currently,
major corporations and universities, such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and
Carnegie Mellon University, and many others support SCORM.
• Supports full circle Seamless Computing from
Web-to-desktop-to-enterprise-Web interoperability. CACTUS-OS utilities
ensure seamless down-load and up-load of courses, tests, metrics, and results.
• Supports Competency Metrics and data-mining to extract meaningful
information for Training & Competency Decision Support and Best HR Practices,

available on-line. These courses and examinations can be utilized through
CACTUS Web Training (CWT) or can be down-loaded to CDE, CNE, or CEE. They
can be also customized, as required.
- A list of SOPs and SOP courses, tests, and examinations can be customized
and adapted according to in-house needs. These courses and examinations
can be utilized through CACTUS Web Training (CWT) or can be down-loaded
to CDE, CNE, or CEE.
- Supports third party development of SCORM compatible courses, tests, &
examinations.
• Supports third party development through co-sourcing of EQUAL (Easy
